Band Practice

Today's band practice was rather bad. It's really hard to maintain patience to wait for others to get the music right, hard to be patient to listen to one another. And once patience is lost, there's a tendency to be mad at one another, tendency to say harsh words which pulls the band's sprirt down. We, forgotten what is loving one another, forgotten what we promised to each other; to encourage, to love. The bad habits that were mentioned after the practice hit us hard. But its a good lesson learned. I'm glad we pulled through, solved all the thorns that built up during practises. I felt at that moment it really takes loads of effort, loads of giving in, loads of love to make a band move forward. Its all about the commitment to one another. Burn the pride, burn the ego, accept the truth.
Just happened to see this verse while looking for some scriptures online.
Proverbs 15:1 (NLT)
1 A gentle answer deflects anger,
but harsh words make tempers flare.
1 John 4:19
19 We love each other because he loved us first.
I believe we can really do great things for Him.
Greater things with greater love.
